Cody Silva aka Codezart is a local street artist from Palm Springs, CA. He was born in the Bay Area, but was raised in the Coachella Valley. He has a background in graffiti and fine art. He is producing pieces all around the desert, including murals and canvases. You can see pieces of art he’s created at the Westfield Shopping Center in Palm Desert, CA, as well as a number of other locations across the valley. He uses tape as a tool to help create the precision required for his artwork, and has recently acquired a sponsorship with Frog Tape, which he has been using for years. In December of 2019 Cody was featured on the cover of Arts & Culture in The Desert Sun newspaper/USA Today Network which is circulated throughout the entire Coachella Valley.
